General employment checkup

This is a health examination conducted by general companies and institutions to recruit workers.

Precautions for examination – If you are taking any medications, you must inform us in advance.
– You must inform us in advance of any unusual information, such as physical discomfort or medical history.
– If you have had surgery within the past year, you must notify us in advance.
– If you are scheduled for a test that requires dietary control, you must follow the instructions.
– Please remove nail art and nail polish when performing a sleep endoscopy.
The day before the examination – For dinner, avoid fatty foods or heavy meals before 20:00 and fast after a light meal.
– However, it is okay to drink water up to 24 o’clock.
– You should avoid drinking, smoking, and strenuous exercise, and get plenty of rest and sleep.
– You must check which medications you can take by the day before before taking them.
On the day of the examination – You must fast after breakfast and refrain from drinking water, gum, candy, or smoking.
– You must check which medications can be taken on the same day before taking them.
– If there is a fecal test, please collect the stool on the day of the test and bring it with you.
– If possible, you should visit in comfortable clothes and without carrying any valuables.
Women’s health checkup – Urine tests, gynecological tests, and breast cancer tests can be performed smoothly 7 days after the end of menstruation.
– If there is a possibility of pregnancy, you must inform us in advance.
– If you are breastfeeding, please let us know in advance, and breast examination is recommended at least 6 months after stopping breastfeeding.
– When screening for cervical cancer, avoid sexual intercourse, vaginal douching, and use of vaginal tablets within 72 hours for 24 hours.
Colonoscopy

– You must control your diet 3 days before the test.
– You must fast after lunch the previous day, excluding water. (Ion drinks available)
– Additional costs may be incurred due to biopsy and polyp removal during the examination.
– The test may be discontinued due to severe pain, bowel cleansing, or the condition of the examinee during the test.
– Since sufficient rest is required after a colonoscopy, we recommend that you refrain from driving your own car on the day and be accompanied by a guardian.

 

Gastroscopy – You should eat a light meal of white porridge or white rice the day before the test.
– You must fast for at least 12 hours before the test.
– Additional costs may be incurred due to biopsy, Helicobacter pylori test, and polyp removal during the test.
– The test may be discontinued due to severe pain or the examinee’s condition during the test.
– Since sufficient rest is required after gastroscopy, we recommend that you refrain from driving your own car on the day and be accompanied by a guardian.
National examination – You are eligible for a general health checkup once every two years (once a year for non-office workers), and you can check whether you are eligible at the National Health Insurance Service.
– The costs of general health checkups, life transition health checkups, and cervical cancer and colon cancer tests are fully covered by the National Health Insurance Corporation.
– Cancer screening requires confirmation as the target range varies for each item.
– For colorectal cancer screening, a colonoscopy is performed based on the results (positive) after the first fecal occult blood test.
– Those eligible for life transition health checkups are 40 and 66 years old.
